Treena lives in Peterborugh, Ontario with her husband Micheal Maxwell.
The two are scammers of house rent fraud.
They do not own thier own home, but rent homes, post Kijiji adds to rent the full home. Require advance deposit to hold house via ebank transfers. Claim home is not available , then keep the deposits.
They have completed damages the last 2 homes, where they rented.
The last landlady contacted CHEXTV and did a tv interview to warn other landlords. You can view the damage done on CHEXTV online, for 27 Larchwood Avenue.
While commiting this offence, the Maxwells, rent to young males only from the ages of 18-21. Rent rooms in the home, without the home owner knowing.
They scam the students, for the rent money and kick the boys out without due cause. The boys dont know thier rental rights and the Maxwells know the system.
Treena is recently in the newspaper again for “Woman skips out on Dentist Bill” and in the midst of an assault change against one of her past landlords.
We all started connecting through Kijiji and facebook, the more of us that got scammed tried to reach out and warn others about the Maxwells.
We even contacted the MPP of Peterborugh to get help and warm him that these fraudsters were scamming numerous people young and old in Peterborough.
Please get the word out and please be cautious of Treena and Mike Maxwell….they do put on a good performance, as they are con artists!
