He lives in Paris, but I met him on a business trip in New York City in middle of July. We had a great night but he was returning to Paris the next day. I didn’t think anything would come about, but we continued to email and he came back to New York a month later to surprise me with a visit. We had a wonderful trip — although his plane was delayed two days from Hurricane Irene, we still spent Monday – Thursday together and had a great time. He said the perfect things, did the perfect things and when he left to go back to Paris, he left his email account up, and I read it because things looked fishy (different email than he uses with me – yahoo. Had facebook notifications in his email when he said he didnt use facebook). So I start to read… he’s had a girlfriend for 5 years. Her name is Maike and she’s a dentist. He told me she was “nothing”, just “someone he doesn’t even know he cares for really”. Then tried to tell me HE WASN’T MAD AT ME. While the emails were clearly lying to her, saying he was on business in NY and missing her from his hotel room. Poor girl.
