I married Joey on Feb 7, 1998. Throughout the marriage he lied to me about EVERYTHING, women, work, you name it. On April 12, 2010 I took my Dad to the eye doctor. Joey texted me at 11:24 and said I love you. When I got home he was packed and gone. I have not seen him since. He is in hiding because he is wanted in North Carolina for absconding and failure to appear on DUI. I think right now he may be in or around the Monroe NC area. His mother is a patient at a Hospital there.

I want you to know,I know this man,I lived close to you guys and know the real truth shelley.
Joey lived a misreable life with you for a very long time,He never had a life other than slaving to meet your needs and standards of living.
The man couldn’t breathe for having you on his back for something or another all the time.
Your kids were rude,mean,disrespectful,and never showed the man one ounce of care other than they were pleased he came along and took you off their hands.
I spoke with Suzanne numerous times and she and her husband,(Randy i think)always said you would never be pleased unless you found a man that fit your dads shoes and lived like he did so therefor you would successfully run joey away (which you did).
So you can spread this lie about Joey Stubbs all you want,The truth is you were a very lucky woman to have had the chance to have a great man in your life,You ruined your marriage,(4th marriage i think),and he is a million times over better off without you and your self centered family in his life.
So since you’re so into to filing lawsuits on people,(even cause you were banned from a casino due to your mouth and noseyness)sue me!……I don’t care,You deserve to be alone the rest of your life you ungratefull egotistical evil person,you have no pity coming from myself nor the other citizens of summersville w.v…………..and yes you have noone in your own hometown that pities you,infact people run to even have to speak to you.
Have a wonderful life,And i hope Joey is happy and successful in life,god knows he deserves it after being stuck with you for however many years you conned him into staying married to you,…………Take care.
Paul, you are so wrong about these people. I KNOW them too, well very well. Joey was in and out of jail during the whole time they were together. You need to check your facts. There are warrants for Joey all over North Carolina and one day he will be caught. He lied to me many times about money, his driver liscense ( he has none and can never get one again). He “worked” for me. He stole 2 palm pads from the McDowell County Schools. They didn’t charge him but he was not permitted to go back. He had to be fired. As I understand it, it’s only one of a dozen jobs he had and lost because he lied and stole. He took 100.00 from a poor old man in Summersville that he was supposed to be working for, then skipped town.
While Shelley has had a temper, she never was a liar or a cheat. If anyone ran from her it’s because they also ran from truth which she tells pretty well. Recently, her parents have both become ill. She takes care of them all the time. Everyone in the area knows that she is dedicated to both of them and admire her for it. While at first she was devastated when Joey left, she has recovered and is doing quite well. In addition to taking care of her parents, she helps everyone else she can too. She is a great friend and neighbor. My only complaint is that sometimes finding a parking place is hard, she has a lot of friends in and out. She is happy now and looks 10 years younger since she got the poison Joey spread out of her life. I love her, as does my wife and many of our friends.
Joey is the evil one. One day he will end up in jail AGAIN.
Shelley, we love you. You have the support of many. BTW, good fortune to you and Mark. He’s a good man.
