We have explained many times that to remove a post, you must post a comment requesting removal within the cooling down period (24 hours from when the post was made).  The IP address on the request must match the IP address on the post.  If there is a match, the post will be removed.  We hope that this helps our users.

Hi Admin,

I need to remove these posts, as they are harmful to myself as well as my ex.  I tried to log in earlier this year, and have tried to contact you but was unable to do so.  Also, I have moved, and am currently using a different computer (and I'm not a techie) so I'm not sure about the IP address, so if this message suffices or you can provide other means to identify myself, that would be fine.  Anyway, I am requesting that you please delete my posts.  Please contact me for further information, at your earliest convenience.

Thanks in advance. Smile

You really don't need a reply, if you post a comment requesting removal and 1) it's been less than 24 hours and 2) the IP address used to post matches the IP address of the comment, then the post will be deleted. This is to give users 24 hours to cool down before the post is permanent.

It doesn't make sense for a post to remain "permanent." Why not 30-days….60-days…before it is automatically deleted? What purpose does this site serve, other than to harm the reputation of people whose lives and families are forever ruined?

If you had any common sense, you would allow the posts to expire after a certain length of time. 24-hours notice to cancel is ridiculous. ConfusedConfusedConfused

Admin – I am a victim of somebody that posted on your site. Somebody at my work searched for my name and saw the post, and now I am close to losing my job.

You should know a couple of things:

- The things that were posted about me are false

- The person that posted the false item has tried to contact you several times to get the post removed

- Because you don't ask people to prove their identity, anybody could post anything about anyone and thus seriously hurt somebody's life

- In my case, the post was made but not posted until over a month after the original post date — way after the "24 hour cooling" period you speak of

- To be clear: I never cheated on this girl. I never did anything wrong. She used the post because she was mad at me and wanted to hurt me. She is no longer mad at me, but she is now hurting me in ways that she never intended.

You are hurting good people.

What can me and the poster do to work with you to have the post removed?

Thank you kindly for any compassion you can show.

I wrote to you requesting removal within 24 hours from when it was posted and you did not agree to remove it .  I am 'scored'.  I have sent you several emails from the IP address it was sent on (216.15.8.150).  If you just remove the posts of the few ppl who request removal you will still have a site.  Please honor this request.

If you check my IP address, you will notice I am the person who posted about Lauren Fitzhenry Parks. I want this post removed. She is married, and there is NO reason for this post to remain. Don't give me the "24-hour cooling-off" period line. We had our disagreements, but she has moved on, and so have I.

Several people on here have complained about not being able to remove posts. This is public domain. There should always be a time limit on posts.

For the last time, PLEASE remove the post I mentioned above. It serves no useful purpose, except to harm the innocent.

Thank you.

We will check to see if the request came within 24 hours.  The reason for the 24 hours is because truthful posts will not be removed only because the poster is threatened with lawsuits.  Truth is a complete defense.  What is the post?

This cant be happening.  When someone cheats on you, there is so much pain and angry that 24 hours is not enough of a cool off period and to say it is permanent after that means it can never be removed.  So when this lady kids become teenager, they will have to live through the pain of their friends possibly finding out about their mom.   This is crazy… I made my post under destress and there has to be some way to remove it..  If her family or my family finds out I posted about her, I will never be forgiven and it may cause some unrepairable damage.  We are not talking about pubic records or bitrh certif.  we are talking about a page the should just be a sounding board… but never something that can be removed,  aslo it does not say it will be permanent until after it is written and by that time my eye were full of tears and my head was spending.  dont these people realize how painful all this is…….  Please help me remove it.

Please help us Admid…. this form is full of people tring to move on with their live and correct a mistake that was made in a moment of fury.  I tried to remove my post maybe 27 hrs afterwards and did not see the fine print after I orginaly posted about my husband lover.  It is hard to understand why your website can not be reached, takes little responsibity and just say "sorry .. after 24hrs its on here forever!!! A bold popup that said are you sure you want to post this because you only have 24 hrs would have helped most of us… 24 hrs is not long enough of a cool down period when your life is in such a mess. Maybe a week would have been better.  Hell you can even return a car purchase after 3days. Alot of us were not thinking clearly, but I am now and know I did the wrong thing and am trying to correct it. I have to put my life back in order and its going to have to start with this!  I not sure how I am going to have any creditability with any furture efforts to resolve the situation if this post stays on this website.

Is there any way I can get some Help ASAP !!!!

Dear Admin,

please, there has to be someway or someone we
can reach to remove a post I made under great distress. Lives are at stake here
and I am sick about it. saying there is nothing that can be done is
unacceptable. this site is in complete control of what they post and what they
does not so I don't understand why they would not let us remove a post we just
placed a few days ago. even if they save the post but remove the listing from
web searches where anyone (including her children) can see it. Affairs are messy
and live are destroyed but why do they want to be part of the continuation of
the destruction of innocent lives. Please help me do what it is I need to do to
remove this post!!!!

This is Char again asking for Tech support to remove my post on Julia Neves Santos on Oct 19,2011.  Have made several attempts to reach this site without a response.  What does it take to reach someone.  I even tried the phone # that is listed on your website info page and no one is answering that as well.  Will try your webmaster next to see if they can get you to commicate with me.  Please honor my request asap.  There is enough anguish in my life at this moment without the added pressure of having this post removed.  I just need sometime to think!!!

Thank you Char

You have not answered any of my requests to remove the post I posted on Oct. 17, 2011.  You can check my IP address to be sure that I am the one who wrote this report.  I was not thinking clearly and have been trying to get in touch with your website since then.  What is it I have to do to get this post off?  She has children and I can’t think of all the damage that would come from one of them reading this post.  I am so sorry I wrote it and I want to do what I can to correct this trouble mistake.  Please email me back.  Every day this post stays on this site is another day that the worst thing that can happen to everyone involved.  Please honor my request.  Thank you again for reading another one of my emails.   Char
