I used to work with Carlos a long time ago. I’m not overly surprised to see him listed here.
Is this the same Carlos Ortiz whose parents own the restaurant? I found him creepy when I met him last year. He wouldn’t leave me alone. And yea, his charm did sound phony to me.

I remember Carlos from the Warminster Kingdom Hall. An elder’s wife used to go around telling everyone that he was bad association. This was years ago after he was baptised. Apparently he’s still the same.

If you knew anything about law or had common sense, you would know the definition of slander and listing someone’s workplace isn’t it. Slander is saying something false about someone. Unless Carlos Ortiz doesn’t work at Wells Fargo Bank in Perkasie Pennsylvania, than this isn’t slander nor is it harrassment by legal definition. Everything else about him was stated as opinion, not fact and the 1st amendment of the Constitution protects an individuals opinion. If you had the mental capacity of an adult brain, this wouldn’t have to be explained to you since all normal adults know stating a fact about someone is not slander.
Another thing smarty, slander is not a criminal case involving police investigation. It’s civil. People don’t get arrested or charged for slander, they get sued. And police will not investigate it. Don’t believe me? Call the Warminster police at 215-672-1000 and ask them.

I stumbled upon this while surfing the web, and can’t claim that I know Carlos or anyone else posting on here. However, I can say that the poster above me is correct. Slander/Defamation Of Character is indeed when someone states FALSE things about another person to sabotage them. If Carlos does in fact work at Wells Fargo and the gym mentioned, then it is not defamation. What WOULD be defamation and slander is if the person would have said “He molests children and kills people”. If that statement is untrue, then it is slanderous and has grounds for a lawsuit. Everything the original poster stated was a 1st Amendment issue and she has the right to voice.
Furthermore, HAD there been slanderous language used, it is a civil matter and not a criminal one – therefore the police would not investigate further than taking an initial report for the plaintiff to take into court.
In closing I would like to say that I agree… Sarah is a moron. I haven’t spoken to the Ortiz family in many years but I grew up with Carlos sister and went to the same Kingdom Hall. Carlos was a user back then. He used people for all sorts of things then dumped them when he finished with what they had to offer. He may be easy to talk to and come off as a nice guy, but that doesn’t dismiss an ulterior motive behind the friendship. The sad part is, I don’t believe he does it maliciously. He thinks that treating others like that is acceptable.
